- Comment (not a review). The name "Wherle" is mentioned three times in the article and the name "Wehrle" seven times. I searched the #1 source for both these names and got zero results, and also get zero results for "Roper". So I could not verify which name was correct or whether the source supported the article contents at all. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:43, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Cwmhiraeth: Wherle was a typo. Everything is referenced and everything appears in those references. The first reference uses "Wehrle" and it's there for anyone to view and I gave the exact page in the link. The second reference has "Roper" in the title from when it changed its name and the article I used gives a long history of the company. The third reference says "Roper" again from when the company changed its name. I thought I made it obvious that it changed its name multiple times and that the final name was Roper. How did you not see Wehrle in the first reference? The title of the section is even The Wehrle Stove Foundry. SL93 (talk) 15:26, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

- When I look at the source "Centennial History of the City of Newark and Licking County, Ohio" I see a search bar labelled "From inside the book". I cannot see any of the pages so cannot look at the pages the numbers of which you cite. When I enter "Wehrle" into the search bar I get zero results. The same for "Roper". Perhaps you have a hard copy of the book, or maybe I am seeing a different version of the Google book in the UK from what you are seeing? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 16:08, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- I don't have a hard copy of the book and I am using exactly what I linked to. I see the two pages completely. "Roper" isn't in the first reference because the reference is from before the name was changed, but it is in the next two. Can you just assume good faith because I can clearly see it?
