Roger Townshend (died 1590)
edit- ... that Sir Roger Townshend's portrait was among those on a tapestry commemorating the destruction of the Spanish Armada which hung in the House of Lords until the tapestry was destroyed by fire in 1834?

New enough, long enough, well sourced, hook fact is confirmed in the Dictionary of National Biography (Norgate) source. I have conducted brief spotchecks for copyvio and close paraphrasing, and have no concerns. No BLP implications. Hook is adequately interesting (perhaps slightly more than adequate). --Demiurge1000 (talk) 23:39, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
