Richardson Island

  • ... that Richardson Island was the subject of an "annexation war" between two cities in the 1950s? Source:
"Corte Madera 'Peace Feeler' Next Step In Annexation War". Daily Independent Journal. San Rafael, California. 1950-08-16. p. 1.

  • Waiting on QPQ. Also, article prose was expanded from 424 B to 1941 B, which isn't *quite* a 5x expansion (4.5)-- could about 200 B of prose be added? Hook seems to be verified, but based on what I'm reading I wonder whether it might be more accurate to say "was involved in an "annexation war"". Article is cited to reliable sources and no evident copyvio. Hook is interesting and cited in article. Also, the article, while it is >1500 B is still classified as a stub, which for DYK purposes it shouldn't be. Eddie891 Talk Work 18:36, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
    • Have expanded from the sources a bit (apologies for the error, I was going on word count rather than byte count). I am fine with either hook -- will return with QPQ shortly. jp×g 12:57, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
    • @Eddie891: QPQ completed, check it out. jp×g 07:17, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
