Article new enough, long enough, is neutral and well-sourced. Earwig flagged a few long quotes. Hooks are interesting. However, for the first, the article states she was the "first [...] Asian solo artist" to perform at the hall whereas the hook states she was "the first artist of Asian descent to stage a solo performance" at the hall (the latter is supported by the source). If I am not mistaken, the source for the second hook only states that she lent her voice for the character's yell, not in which TV series she did it. - Thanks for the review, Pamzeis. For the main hook, I was trying to avoid close paraphrasing (WP:PARAPHRASE), that I elaborated her being someone of Asian descent (as opposed simply an 'Asian' artist as mentioned in the source). Agreed on the second hook, that trivial information isn't mentioned in the article but just the film, so I am scrapping it out. Just proposing the main hook instead. Hopefully that provides some clarity. Happy to answer additional comments you may have. Pseud 14 (talk) 14:11, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification, Pseud 14. I'm still concerned about how accurate it is (in the article and hook) as the sources do not state that she was the first Asian solo artist but rather the first Asian tartist to stage a solo performance. Saying that she is the first of Asian descent may be inaccurate as there may be artists who performed that are of Asian descent but aren't Asian. Perhaps you could reword it in the article (e.g. In 1991, Velasquez made her North American concert debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City, the first solo performance from an Asian artist)? As for the hook, maybe:

- @Pamzeis: Saying "to perform alone" is a bit awkward to describe her doing a solo concert, I did a minor reword of the ALT above. I got rid of 'Asian descent', as I'm also trying to limit the hook to less than 200 characters. Let me know if the above is suitable? Pseud 14 (talk) 15:41, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- There's a vague confusion between solo concert vis-à-vis solo performance so I found another source that confirms it was in fact a solo concert. Adding this as an additional source for the hook. (e.g. includes a featured guest, musical director, etc) Pseud 14 (talk) 00:40, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
