  • The article is long enough and 5× expanded. The first hook is cute, but formally incorrect cause you don't have to know all the pokémons and you don't have to have heard about rock-paper-scissors to play it. Knowing 718 pokémons and being good at rock-paper-scissors would certainly help, but a reliable source must say it helps. The second hook is not really hooky and unclear cause it can be understood as "there have been other Pokémon puzzle games, but they used some other rules". Out of the two, I suggest tweaking the first hook cause I like the idea of mentioning 718 pokémons and rock-paper-scissors. --Moscow Connection (talk) 18:57, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
  • @Moscow Connection: Thank you for reviewing my DYK nom. I rewrote the main hook. I'm not really clear on the problem with the second one. The other puzzles games do have different rules certainly, just not taken from the main video game series. I'm sort of divided on whether or not it's really hooky: the IGN review did heavily praise the game specifically for the fact that it uses rules from the other games. Let me know if the new main hook is good, else recommendations on either would be appreciated. --21:23, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
  • Sorry, you are right about the second hook. It is absolutely correct and supported by the source. I was just that I had never heard about Pokémon puzzle games and when I looked at the source (it said, "Pokemon Battle Trozei is unique in trying to incorporate the established rules of the Pokemon universe in its puzzle-based gameplay"), I thought that Pokémon Battle Trozei was the first Pokémon puzzle ever. I was inattentive while reading the lead section of your article. Now I have followed the link to Pokémon Trozei and looked at the Pokémon spin-offs template and I know Pokémon puzzle games have existed for ages.
