all mostly good, but I'm wondering what the relevance of the 1969 film is to the hook? Also not sure that him being "known for" that film is cited or accurate. This article here: [2] suggests that his 1967 film "Herbst der Gammler" was what made him famous. It might be worth focusing exclusively on the 1979 film, particularly as there's a very hooky-looking link to the coronavirus pandemic mentioned in the source [3]. Amakuru, thank you for that source, + it's in English, so I should use it, and write some more, including perspective. - I was busy with the next who died but had an edit conflict, so used the time to check my watchlist. I certainly knew him for the Jagdszenen, + it was on the plate for the Academy Awards, - therefore I added it to connect to something familiar. If you tell me it's not familiar we can drop it. I wonder if we could come up with "the overlooked of New German Cinema". He was overlooked here again, spending not even a full day on RD. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:48, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
  • ALT1: ... that Peter Fleischmann's (pictured) cult film The Hamburg Syndrome foresaw the corona crisis as early as 1979? Source: [4] Grimes2 (talk) 12:39, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
The article The Hamburg Syndrome needs to be expanded. Grimes2 (talk) 12:39, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
The idea is good, but a possessive and pictured don't go well together, we should better say that he directed and produced it to not leave ambiguous what the possessive means, and finally I don't think we can say "the corona crisis" exactly, on top of COVID-19 being the more common term in English. - You are absolutely right that as long as the film is in its miserable state we should not link to it, which I avoided intentionally in the original hook. More - including an ALT2 - later today or tomorrow. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:22, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
I've done something on the article The Hamburg Syndrome (plot), but it's machine translated English, this can be improved. Grimes2 (talk) 13:31, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
 Done, improved. Grimes2 (talk) 08:10, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
I don't like to make reviews, Gerda, are there two qpq reviews necessary? Grimes2 (talk) 11:11, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Yes but I can do the second one, eventually. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:01, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
I reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/Vitaly Shishov. Amakuru, I think that we are there formally, now, and I can expand the article until DYK day, - not now. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:50, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
