- Content of the hook about the anime fans is backed with a source in the article ([2]), but I'm a bit unsure about the reliability of the source in terms of Wikipedia's guideline. I'm not seeing a source in the article to verify the part about some of the 20th-century's greatest conductors being guests there. North America1000 05:25, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
- The fact that Bruno Walter, Wilhelm Furtwängler and Herbert von Karajan are considered among the 20th-century greatest conductors is indisputable (indeed, even the articles say so). Each and everyone of them has given concerts in the PdF, which is sourced for each of them. To say nothing of Gustav Mahler and Richard Strauss, who are considered giants of 20th-century music as composers and have had illustrious careers as conductors. - @Edelseider: I understand that it's implied, but the content needs to be stated in the article, and backed with an inline citation to a reliable source in the article. I'm just following the rules, specifically WP:WIADYK point #3, "The fact(s) mentioned in the hook must be cited in the article", "Facts should have an inline citation", "Each fact in the hook must be supported in the article by at least one inline citation to a reliable source, appearing no later than the end of the sentence(s) offering that fact". Struck the original hook. The alt hook is acceptable. Upon consideration, the source from Francetvinfo.fr verifying the anime convention appears to meet WP:RS to a decent enough degree. I tried some searches to find further sources for verification regarding this, but not finding much. Several sources are used in the article to verify several conductors. One minor matter is that I have added the word "has" to the alt hook, (to read "has hosted") for grammar purposes. North America1000 12:33, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
