Ocean One edit

Ocean One apartment building
Ocean One apartment building

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The image is appropriately licensed, the hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:31, 4 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Hold it. I don't think the article's neutral. Inclusion of the secret photography bit is UNDUE. I'm all for fun hooks but this isn't fun. It's just some pervert. EEng 20:33, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
  • In addition to EEng's concerns regarding the matter, there's something basic that I don't think that article is conveying, which I only discovered during my copyedit just now while checking sources. While amounts such as "HK$10,326" are given as the price of an apartment (which is the unlikely amount of about US$1333), the sources (https://hk.finance.appledaily.com/finance/daily/article/20121014/18039816, for example) give two numbers for pricing of apartments: an apartment in another building was sold for 4.68 million yuan last month, with a price of 7536 yuan. It seems to me that the relevant number is 4.68 million yuan (aka Hong Kong dollars); assuming an exchange rate of 7.75 yuan to the US dollar (current range is 7.75–7.85), that's an apartment costing US$603,871. I'm not sure what "price" means in this context, but it doesn't seem to be sales price. I'm hoping Feminist can clarify matters here, and an alternate hook is probably in order. If the bathroom camera is out what about ALT1? -- Thats Just Great (talk) 17:34, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
  • ALT1 ... that residential building Ocean One (pictured) has a concert hall on its first floor? Source:"TTN, short for This Town Needs, co-founded by Hui with event promoters Joshua Chan and K.K. Wong in Yau Tong, is now fully licensed. ... A huge, high-ceilinged cavern of 18,000 square feet (1,670 square metres) ... TTN occupies a commercial space on the first floor of Ocean One"[1]
  • Reviewer needed to check on ALT1; I have struck the original hook. Cwmhiraeth, would you be willing to take a look? BlueMoonset (talk) 00:56, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
