Article is new enough (nice incubation work -- in development for several weeks, moved to main space 10/7) and long enough. Article appears to satisfy core policies (neutral, cites sources with inline citations, spot checking reveals no examples of copyright violations or plagiarism). Hook is short enough and interesting. Hook facts is supported by reliable sources cited in the article, including this one. (However, he only pitched 1/3 of an inning, giving up 5 earned runs, during the 1990 season.)
