Melanie Diener edit

  • ... that the German soprano Melanie Diener began her stage career in Mozart roles in 1996, and appeared as Isolde with the Canadian Opera Company and the Opéra national du Rhin in 2013? Source: [2013 gab sie ihr Rollendebüt als Isolde an der Canadian Opera in Toronto, eine Partie mit der sie auch an der Opéra national du Rhin in Straßburg erfolgreich war.]

  • The article is five times expanded and everything checks out, no copyvio, well cited, neutrally written, and so forth. All hook facts are cited from online sources, except that I have taken the liberty of adding "stage" before "career", to make the first correct. I am not sure we need all of this in the hook, perhaps it could be gently pruned when promoted. Would you mind that, Gerda Arendt? Moonraker (talk) 22:55, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
Thank you. We could stop after Toronto, only it wouldn't show more internationality, and that the role wasn't a singular event. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 04:36, 4 June 2019 (UTC)
What we are aiming to do with the hook is to say enough to make people want to look at the article, and in this case we do not seem to have anything startling to work with. We can safely let the volunteer promoting this one make the call on shorter or longer, both are within the rules. Moonraker (talk) 13:43, 4 June 2019 (UTC)
