• Serious problems with this article, primarily NPOV language and essay-like style, as well as whole paragraphs with no citations. Hook is not particularly interesting, either; many precocious children are sent to study their craft at young ages, so what makes him unique? – Muboshgu (talk) 17:02, 2 May 2012 (UTC)

• I have cleaned up some POV language, embellished the references so that there are no bare URLs, and cited all the paragraphs.
