New enough, long enough, and properly sourced. QPQ done. Although Earwig found some proper noun phrases and set phrases in common with the sources, there appears to be no problematic copying. One easily-resolved issue: the hook says "Professor of Food Technology", capitalized as if it is a proper noun phrase. That phrase does not appear in the article. Is it her actual formal title or is it merely that she was a professor, and that the subject she professed is food technology. If the latter, it should be lower case. It looks from the https://tamiro.massey.ac.nz/nodes/view/7001 source that she was indeed a professor in the Massey University Department of Food Technology, but that affiliation is not actually stated in the article, and should be to support the hook. —David Eppstein (talk) 23:08, 1 December 2021 (UTC)

- Ok, but the phrase "professor of X" generally means that they are a professor in the department of X, or officially recognized in their title as professor of X, rather than that they are a professor who specializes in X. In this case, it is accurate to call her "professor of food technology", because we do have a source saying that she was in the Massey University Department of Food Technology. But what we don't have is text in the article itself saying that she was in the Massey University Department of Food Technology. Could something like that be added, please? - @Theleekycauldron: The last para says "Mary Earle died in Palmerston North on 18 April 2021, and she chose to be buried in Turakina where some of the earliest Scottish immigrants to New Zealand had lived [as she had never forgotten her Scottish roots AND...].
