Source: ""En 1997, Aguirre nombró como sustituto de Salgado a su primo —del gobernador— Manuel Añorve Baños, quien actualmente es diputado federal." Another source cited in the article mentions the cousin connection.
- ALT1:... that Hurricane Pauline propelled Manuel Añorve Baños to becoming the interim mayor of Acapulco? See above. In Spanish, the hurricane is often called Paulina, not Pauline.
