Machete (character) edit

5x expanded by Bonkers The Clown (talk). Self nominated at 10:26, 8 October 2013 (UTC).

  • This article is new enough and long enough. QPQ done and no copyvios detected. Although the hook is no doubt true, it is not backed up by an online citation in the article as far as I can see. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:13, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
  • The online sources all pertain to Machete and Machete Kills. Hook fact has also been mentioned in the lead. It is only the in-plot bulleted points that can stay unreferenced as the film itself is the reference. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 11:33, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
Sorry, I meant "inline" when I wrote "online". My mistake. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:26, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
  • "Machete, portrayed by Danny Trejo" - no inline citation
  • "Machete, created by Robert Rodriguez" - no inline citation
  • "Machete, appeared in Machete and Machete Kills - no inline citation
The created by and portrayed by parts are cited inline in the article's "History" section and concisely paraphrased in the hook. The films themselves serve as references for the rest of the hook. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 12:45, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
  • I have added an extra reference for the hook as the nominator seems unwilling to do so. Great chunks of the article are identical to other Wikipedia articles but there is probably sufficient unique content to reach the minimum length criterion. Ready to go.
