Loved (video game)

edit
  • ... that no libraries were used during the development of Loved?
  • ALT1:... that one reviewer dubbed Loved "great high-brow lunchtime gaming"?
  • Reviewed: DashCon
  • Comment: I understand that gameplay sections should be sourced to secondary sources, but seeing as how most plot summaries can be traced back to primary sources, I hope this is sufficient for the time being.

  • Gameplay would be much better if it were sourced. Even to an instruction manual. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:22, 1 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Started review on article talk page before DYK nom. New (28th), long enough, neutral, no copyvio found via spot check (though there are a few minor things that can be rephrased, QPQ done. The first hook needs a ref immediately following its fact in the WP article (see 3b). I'd actually strike that hook, though (as libraries are jargon-y) and mention Wired in the second hook and run that one. Every paragraph needs at least one citation (including gameplay). Please ping me if I don't respond. czar  16:41, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
  • I actually kinda like the first hook, though I wouldn't link "libraries" (as it just ruins the surprise). I still think Gameplay should have something backing it up (i.e. at least an explicit citation to the game and/or manual; the DYK exception is for plots, not gameplay, and most high quality VG articles have gameplay cited). Nom hasn't replied yet. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 16:48, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Crisco 1492, Czar: Sorry, I'll try to get the gameplay paragraph cited as soon as possible. 23W 19:04, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Okay, it's been cited. I also removed the wikilink from the main hook. 23W 19:46, 2 August 2014 (UTC) Also added a ref after the sentence that the hook is referring to. 19:47, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
Both hooks check out, everything cited. I think the ALT isn't as misleading and thus prefer it. czar  22:38, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
Cool. Thanks for your constructive feedback on both this page and the talk page! 23W 23:02, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
