Solid articles on good sources, no copyvio obvious. Sorry, I am not happy with the hook. Is it intentional that we don't get to know that it's a bird? ... that it's a very specific bamboo? "Rice and bamboo", - that's boring, no? I suggest you use the wording from the article, with the hard seeds explaining the name.
