Kitchen hack

Kitchen hack showing how to separate an egg using a water bottle

Created by Valereee (talk). Self-nominated at 11:55, 20 March 2020 (UTC).

  • The article was moved into the mainspace the same day of nomination, so it is new enough. It is long enough. QPQ done. It does not appear to violate copyright and is presented neutrally. Citations are reliable and hook is ok. I am not the most experienced DYK reviewer so I have a question about the use of a video. I haven't been able to find anywhere in the rules that a video is okay to use, but I haven't found anywhere that explicitly prohibits it. This is my only question about the nomination. • @Skyes(BYU) and Valereee: we used a video with the lead hook for Fred Rogers - 2019/November, However, it would be treated like any image, in that it needs to be freely licensed. This one looks to me like it's just an external link to The New Daily website. We can't use an external link in the image, nor should it be used in the article if it's not freely licensed.WP:ELNEVER — Maile (talk) 15:03, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
Maile66, nah, that is a video I took myself and uploaded to commons! That's my thumb and my kitchen counter. :) Did I do it wrong? --valereee (talk) 21:25, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
trout Self-trout It's not you, it's me. I mis-read the ".webm". Mr error. Sorry. @Skyes(BYU): if there were no other issues, you can pass this nomination. — Maile (talk) 21:38, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
lol...I was like...The New Daily...? :) --valereee (talk) 21:42, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
In that case, everything looks good. Skyes(BYU) (talk) 16:32, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
