General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Hook is in order, but I didn't find a source for two phrases and added two invisible comments. On the image, it is free, but maybe we could find a better one? Paradise Chronicle (talk) 00:11, 2 July 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for the review, and improvements to the article. The two statements concern her school and her work on the Hamburg party board 2012 to 2015. I tried to find a ref for the school but didn't (other than the many mirrors of the German Wikipedia, of her article and the school's). Should she have gone to a specific school in German, but not in English? - The other, I'll check, but am not well-versed in politics. I doubt that without being on the board in 2013 she would have been a candidate for the Bundestag. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:14, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
Sorry, I failed to find dates of beginning and end of her work on the regional party board, while all articles list that she was on it, and after the federal board. What should we do? I suggest to leave it as is, as not a contentious statement. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:11, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
Dear Gerda Arendt, I have worked a bit on the positions she held, and read several articles on her and none mentioned the Gelehrtenschule in Kiel, but schools in Kiel were mentioned. So I removed the specific high school as it doesn't seem to be notable enough for now, I guess her university studies are more notable. The Hamburg Party Board I removed as well, also on the pages of the Hamburg Greens or of herself it isn't mentioned when she assumed and resigned at/from the Hamburg party board.
This leaves the image. I have checked through the last few months of the DYK and this image of Katja Husen is not really captivating for the DYK if I compare it with other images.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 19:48, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for the expansions, and I think you should get make-credit. I wonder why you didn't leave the year of Abitur which is on her early webpage, and - even if the dates of begin and end are not sure - the function of Landesvorstand, which practically every news mentions, see Dey for example. (I believe it was on dpa.) I can't help that we don't have the "our perl" image, and if we had it it would probably be fair use. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:05, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
Ok, I filled the missing gaps ob Abitur and Landesvorstand from her personal webpage which I found in her article of the German wikipedia. A better image like the one at our perl would be great.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 21:15, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
The site of some early days is under external links. I always hesitate to use those but the Abitur year saves readers some math. How about this: you take credit for making, and someone else reviews? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:12, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
Ah the source was also under external links...She was an avid cycler as well I learned since I found them. We can do like you suggested and request another reviewer.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 08:22, 3 July 2022 (UTC)

  • Happy to reiterate most of Paradise Chronicle's review now that they have become a contributor: new enough, long enough, neutral, well referenced. Hook is interesting – my German is sufficient to verify the hook facts but not good enough to check for close paraphrasing. QPQ provided and image is appropriately licensed (although it isn't the best quality). 97198 (talk) 12:05, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
I guess Gerda Arendt tried to make a contributor but it sort of didn't work. And it's ok, I don't feel I have done enough to be credited for this.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 12:23, 11 July 2022 (UTC)

  • Closing note: Promoting, but without image. The image may meet other criteria, but it does not seem to meet the "clear at 100 px" criteria. Even if it is clear quality wise, the subject is looking away from the readers, and it would appear as a distraction, if promoted with the image. Thank you! – Kavyansh.Singh (talk) 08:59, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
