I found another ref, which does not state that Mayalu would have been sentenced to death. Thus, ALT1, that Ram Raja Prasad Singh was sentenced to death in absentia following the Nepal bombings in 1985? --Soman (talk) 02:40, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Although I think ALT1 would work, there are more concerns than just the hook. This article is marked a stub, which should be dealt with. And there is some evidence of close paraphrasing in the last sentence. "palace hardliners", "discredit". I'm sure you can come up with some terms of your own.—♦♦ AMBER^(ЯʘCK) 13:13, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Awesome, I see progress has been made. However, I'm not that great a fan of that newly applied maintenance template (please resolve that), nor of the fact that the article doesn't seem to have a bolded intro.—♦♦ AMBER^(ЯʘCK) 14:16, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

Article appears to have been improved, however I am still concerned about the hook, as it does not appear to meet

neutral and does not focus unduly on negative aspects of living people

Where is the BLP issue? The ALT1 hook only mentions Ram Raja Prasad Singh, who 1) is dead and 2) was quite proud of having been declared public enemy number 1 by the monarchy. The hook is notable, since Singh was later one of key contenders for the post as president of Nepal. --Soman (talk) 23:33, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
