Julia Gerity edit

  • ... that in the 35th year of her career, blues singer Julia Gerity lost all her performance materials in a 1947 fire at Coney Island?
  • ALT1: ... that in the 35th year of her career, blues singer Julia Gerity lost much of performance materials (including gowns and music) in a 1947 fire at Coney Island?

Good story on excellent sources with a sweet ending! Offline sources accepted AGF. The hook: "Billboard reported that the fire destroyed much of Gerity's material including gowns, orchestrations, and special material numbers" does not support "all performance materials". Please reword as an ALT1, perhaps mentioning gowns and music? I confess that I don't know what "special material numbers" means. Otherwise fine, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:37, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
Thank you! I suggest to drop the brackets:
