Jason Spriggs edit

5x expanded by Church (talk). Self-nominated at 19:16, 5 August 2016 (UTC).

  • I would need a more experienced editor to have a look at the timescales for this nomination please - I will do the rest of this review while we await a second opinion.
Article is long enough, it has lots on inline citations, is written neutrally and I cannot find any evidence of copyright violations. QPQ done. However, I cannot find a source for the hook? ツStacey (talk) 20:19, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
@Staceydolxx: Thanks for doing this review, this was submitted right at the 10 day mark. The hook isn't directly said but implied because he was listed as a tight end as opposed to an offensive lineman which he ended up playing. Thanks--Church Talk 00:41, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
Hi Church. The age requirement for DYK is 7 days, not 10. I see you were allowed your first DYK at 10 days in 2011, but I think that was more likely to encourage you, as the age requirement then was 5 days. That said, I'd be happy to let it pass on age, but I think you'll need an alternative hook. The source doesn't actually predict that's where he will play, just suggests that he could play there. I can't think of one myself, I'm not sure which facts are standard and which are interesting. WormTT(talk) 09:00, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
@Worm That Turned:, Hello I should have known better on the time requirement! My apologies for not refreshing myself with the policy. In regards to the alternate hook:

Alt1... that rookie Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Jason Spriggs was named a first team All-American his senior year of college?

I'm happy with that hook. The article is good to go on ALT 1. WormTT(talk) 19:37, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
