Innocenzo Leonelli

  1. Quote: "He finally adopted the life of a beggar and a hermit near Brescia, in Northern Italy, and changed his name to that of Tiburzio Lazari, thus canceling any traces of past riches and nobility." 2. Quote: "Tornato in Italia vide nel 1622 l’ eremo di S. Maria Maddalena in Brescia, e, distribuite ai poveri le sue ricchezze, colassù si chiuse, desioso di quella pace, cui sempre aspirano le anime elette." Maria Maddalena in Brescia in 1622, and distributed his riches to the poor and cloistered himself, desperate for that peace to which the chosen souls always aspire." • Added quotations from source material to support hook. Jbh Talk 01:59, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
Interesting life on good sources, Italian sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I think him fighting only against enelies of his faith might be even more interesting, - your choice. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:47, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
@Gerda Arendt: Thank you. I am open to a hook change. Maybe " … Innocenzo Leonelli was fiercely religious and took a vow to fight only enemies of the Catholic faith." That would be supported in (Lupieri 2003 "He was a soldier with intense spiritual sentiments and vowed to fight only against the enemies of his Catholic faith."). I could not think of a way to restate enemies of the Catholic faith other than 'heretics'. I figured that would be overly POV and possibly inaccurate. I do not believe there is enough material to do more than re-word but any suggestions you have would be appreciated. Jbh Talk 15:43, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
It's your nom, and we can take it as it is, - quarrels at "errors" are not adding to the pleasures of editors ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:51, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
Let's just leave it as is and avoid complications. Cheers. Jbh Talk 16:03, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
