Huawei Ascend P7 edit

  • ... that the Huawei Ascend P7 has been noted for its high-resolution front camera and slow processor?

Created by SSTflyer (talk). Self-nominated at 08:42, 16 November 2015 (UTC).

  • I'm applying good faith that someone will change the hook to mention that the Huawei Ascend P7 is a smartphone, as it is not obvious. Article quality is sufficient, and the hook is neutral (it takes both a positive and negative property). These properties were also mentioned by more than one source. • Jolly Janner, I'm sorry, but before you approve a hook, it should be in the form it will be when promoted. The AGF tick typically means that the source for the hook is offline, so as the hook fact could not be checked, it is being accepted in good faith. (Sometimes this is used if the hook source is online, but much of the article's sourcing is not.) Also, "article quality is sufficient" is not specific enough a review at DYK. Please be sure to state those DYK criteria that the article has met (or not): length, newness, neutrality (done in this case), sourced, free of copyvio/close paraphrasing, and so on. Many thanks. • I will ping @SSTflyer: to change the hook. I assessed it against the criteria you listed. Jolly Ω Janner 07:05, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
  • as its camera resolution and processing units are opinions I would stick to the term "has been noted". Article is over 1,500 characters and created 16 November and nominated on same day. Every paragraph except the lead has at least one inline citation (additionally at the end of the sentence for hook info) and Earwig's Copyvio Detector was clear. • ALT2 ... that the Huawei Ascend P7 smartphone has a "high-resolution" front camera and a "slow" processing unit? sst✈(discuss) 13:24, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
@SSTflyer: I'm not keen on the use of quotation marks. The original blurb was fine but just need to have "smartphone" added to it. Jolly Ω Janner 01:36, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
