Hamdi Kayapınar

edit
  • ... that the first victim of the Turkish serial killer Hamdi Kayapınar was his sibling? Source: "Kayapınar had committed his first murder in 1994 when he killed his brother by strangling him." [1]

  • No problems really. The only thing I'd like to mention is that I'm not a fan of the "incident" subsection scheme. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:07, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
  • @Editorofthewiki: Thanks so much for your review. Regarding your comment on the subsections, I am open to any suggestion by you, and will reword them. CeeGee 21:29, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
  • The Police investigation, Arrest, and trial sections can be converted into proper subsections. The incidents should be combines into several paragraphs. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 21:57, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, and did a thorough copyedit for English grammar. I added a few tags where a date would be appropriate. I also don't understand how he was arrested with his brother if he had killed him in his teens; perhaps the early life section should mention how many siblings he had. I changed "sibling" to "brother" in the hook. Yoninah (talk) 00:09, 30 August 2018 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: Thank you for your review and copyedit. It seems there is a confusion. First of all he had three siblings, a younger one, he had killed, a sister and a brother. There are two different information in the sources about the gender of the killed sibling, some say "brother" and others say "sister". So, in order not to make any mistake, I use the word "sibling" in the article. On the other hand, he was arrested along with his brother, who is alive. I would appreciate if you can reword the hook and the article accordingly. Otherwise, I am ready to do it. Thanks. CeeGee 05:32, 30 August 2018 (UTC)
  • @CeeGee: OK, I made the change to "siblings". I put in three tags before sentences which need a date. Yoninah (talk) 12:59, 30 August 2018 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah:  Done Thank you again. CeeGee 06:38, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
