Franz Harnoncourt

Created by Gerda Arendt (talk). Self-nominated at 10:22, 10 July 2021 (UTC).

I forgot to mention that this would be good on his birthday, 2 August. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:15, 14 July 2021 (UTC)
General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
  • Cited: Yes - Offline/paywalled citation accepted in good faith
  • Interesting: Yes
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Article is just long enough and new enough, with no apparent copyvio. Assuming good faith on what looks like quality Austrian sources. My only issue is with the hook, it is a bit long and not all that interesting. I am proposing ALT1 to make it a little punchier. BuySomeApples (talk) 00:09, 29 July 2021 (UTC)

Thank you. I get your hook down here because you shouldn't put it above my signature as it will need some other reviewer's approval.
Punchier it is, but it looks like the usual dish-washer's career then. In his case - almost the opposite - he was destined from the start to eventually lead, but still had to start "low" inspite of studies and international experience. If you can word that punchier you are welcome. Thanks for picking this up, - not much time until his birthday. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:21, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
It definitely is a bit misleading about his background, but not more so than ALT0 imo, just more concise. Hopefully this will get promoted on his birthday. BuySomeApples (talk) 10:00, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
To make that happen it would be good if you moved it to special occasion, and for ALT1 to be considered to find someone to approve it. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:22, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
