Ephraim Bacon

  • ... that Ephraim Bacon, a leader of the American Colonization Society expedition that founded Liberia, fled to Barbados after coming down with a fever? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)

  • Looks good - long enough and new enough. Sources are mostly either snippet view or offline, but of the ones with Google Books preview I could verify the hook up until "West Indies", and the "Barbados" I will AGF. No serious plagiarism issues and QPQ is done. Good to go. Juxlos (talk) 18:50, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but the article lacks biographical details. He is the brother of Samuel Bacon, who has lots of cites. Yoninah (talk) 01:10, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
Hi Yoninah, I also wrote the Samuel Bacon article. I appreciate the Ephraim Bacon article doesn't have much outside of his involvement with the expedition but I couldn't find anything else to include in reliable sources, not even birth/death dates. The article as it stands includes everything I found - Dumelow (talk) 16:59, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
  • OK, I guess. Restoring tick (for online source) per Juxlos' review. Yoninah (talk) 19:37, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
