Clifford Kinvig
edit- ... that military historian Clifford Kinvig, whose surname is an anagram of Viking, came from an Isle of Man family?
- ALT1:... that ...?

- Let's see what we have here. The article is long enough, new, and there are no copyright violations (11.5% is the highest but they are all names). Hook is interesting (reminds me of April Fools' Day Featured Article of the Day Nominative determinism!) and cited correctly. I cannot access the article because it requires subscription. Here are a few things needed to be addressed:
- (1): QPQ needs to be done.
- (2): The intro mentions his death date but this is not cited anywhere else. Make sure it is found in the body paragraphs per WP:LEAD.
- (3): Would you able to provide the direct quote for the hook? This is not a requirement but since I'm not able to access the source because of the subscription I was just curious.
- Let me know when these are done and I'll go ahead and review the updates. Thanks and great article! ComputerJA (☎ • ✎) 19:02, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Philafrenzy: Please let me know if you would like to continue with this nomination. Thanks! ComputerJA (☎ • ✎) 13:53, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
- DOD added to the body. QPQ done. The quote from The Times was "The family was Manx in origin and the name Kinvig - not unusual on the Isle of Man - is reputedly an anagram for the Viking marauders who looted the island...". Philafrenzy (talk) 20:37, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Philafrenzy: Hi, I think you forgot to add the tick of approval to your QPQ. Would you mind adding that if you think the article you reviewed is ready? Your nomination is ready to go. It just needs that in your QPQ. ComputerJA (☎ • ✎) 14:44, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
- I have completed the review now. Philafrenzy (talk) 21:57, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- QPQ done and concerns have been addressed. Article is stable and ready for the Main Page. ComputerJA (☎ • ✎) 02:03, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
