  • ... that Clifford E. Charlesworth (pictured) was a NASA Flight Director during the Apollo 11 Moon landing mission? Source: "Mr. Charlesworth was flight director for the Manned Spacecraft Center at Houston from 1962 to 1970 and directed several Gemini and Apollo missions, including the Apollo 11 space mission in 1969 that landed the first men on the moon." • New, long enough, in time, sourced, inline hook citation checks out, no apparent copyvios, QPQ done, image is appropriately licensed. --Usernameunique (talk) 04:03, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but do not understand why it's hooky. It's just "Did you know that X = Y". Yoninah (talk) 20:44, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
A hook is supposed to be "short, punchy, catchy, and likely to draw the readers in to wanting to read the article". I think that the Apollo 11 Moon landing is of sufficient interest to tempt the reader to click on the link. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 20:50, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
  • Perhaps, if the target article was Apollo 11. Isn't there anything else you can say about the subject? Yoninah (talk) 20:54, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
  • So let someone else promote it. Yoninah (talk) 21:23, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
  • Right. Well, there's really nothing else to say about this person. Restoring Usernameunique's tick. Yoninah (talk) 14:19, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
