  • Article created on 7 January so new enough, long enough (1961). The article needs some serious copyediting, there are numerous spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. So I can't assess criteria such as within policy until that has been done. The hook given is also really uninteresting. Is there nothing notable about his life apart from his great-uncle being Sven Wollter? Also an inline citation for his birthday. Adequate QPQ provided. Cowlibob (talk) 12:06, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
  • Something went wrong with the Qpq so fixed it. Anyways, the rest of your concerns will be dealt with shortly.BabbaQ (talk) 13:17, 17 January 2020 (UTC)

I've made some major edits to the article which hopefully mean that it is now suitable for DYK. However as they are major, I need to unfortunately recuse myself from this nomination. I can offer an alt though.

@BabbaQ and Cowlibob: I took a quick look at the article and it appears that the issues have been addressed. I actually ALT1 and thought it was interesting (being a reporter at the age of 13), although ALT2 is the better wording. The source doesn't mention his age, but I think we can use WP:CALC here since we know his DOB and the date the article was published; give me a few more days to think about this. Otherwise, this is pretty much good to go. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 03:38, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
@Narutolovehinata5: - made a more general Alt3 alternative to consider. Thanks for your review.BabbaQ (talk) 09:55, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
To add to the above, thanks for identifying the issue. I have amended to say he was a teenager as we can't know if he was 13 as the source doesn't show a particular year, and added an extra ref for confirmation which also specifies that it was his first official job. I have crossed out the hooks based on your review as well as inaccuracy of my own hooks and tweaked ALT3.Cowlibob (talk) 12:17, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
@Cowlibob: For what it's worth, one of the sources has a publication date of October 8, 2008. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:02, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
  • I think we should be okay with ALT3, merely being a "teen reporter" is already interesting in my eyes. I'm assuming good faith for the foreign language sources used to cite it, although Google Translate seems to check out. The rest of the review is per Cowlibob.
