Campaign Z edit

Created/expanded by Georgejdorner (talk). Self-nominated at 19:47, 17 February 2016 (UTC).

  • The DYK check revealed: Prose size (text only): 13547 characters (2243 words) "readable prose size", Article created by Georgejdorner on February 17, 2016, Article has not been expanded 5x since it was created. So it meets the "new enough", "long enough" and looks to me to be within the guidelines of our policy. The hook, is loosely supported by the cited statement "When a medevac helicopter came in, the unhurt journalists barged aboard before a wounded Thai officer could be loaded. A later medevac had to be called in for the wounded major after the reporters departed." Offline sources accepted in good faith. QPQ done. MisterBee1966 (talk) 09:29, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
  • I may have been too genteel during the rewrite. The source states, "The Lao called in a helicopter to evacuate their wounded commander, and...watched in disgust as the journalists elbowed him aside as they scrambled to board the aircraft." "Cowardice" was the term that sprang to my mind; I settled for "commandeer".Georgejdorner (talk) 03:39, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
