Black Jester edit

1914 St Leger winner Black Jester

  • ... that despite early concerns that the race course would be too long for Black Jester (pictured), the colt won the 1914 St Leger Stakes by five lengths and set a new record time?

fine article on a noble horse, well sourced. I admit that the source for the record is a bit too long for me, can you point out where that is mentioned? The other parts of the hook are supported, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:12, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
The first sentence of the third-last paragraph of the source says, "The English St. Leger was run in record time, 3.2 2-5...." Hope this helps. --PFHLai (talk) 10:42, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
