Billy Gilbert (baseball) edit

Billy Gilbert with the Baltimore Orioles

Created/expanded by Muboshgu (talk). Self nom at 02:51, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

  • Per supplementary guidelines C2, I recommend adding "baseball" to the hook as in: ALT2: ... that Hall of Fame baseball manager John McGraw signed Billy Gilbert (pictured) to the Baltimore Orioles in 1902 and the New York Giants in 1903? Otherwise, the length is ok; 5× expansion within 5 days of nomination is ok; the hook is supported by an inline citation, which is verified; and the article content meets the "within policy" criteria and other supplementary guidelines. • Good point, I forget about C2 sometimes. By all means add baseball to the main hook if that's the one that's deemed the best. Thanks for the review. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:35, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
