Bernabe Costas de Miranda

edit

Moved to mainspace by LauraHale (talk). Self nominated at 11:07, 4 December 2013 (UTC).

Length, history and reference verified. However, "athlete can't take part in major contest because of injury suffered in training" is really not an interesting hook—it happens all the time (Unless this is unusual in wheelchair basketball? Which I doubt). Could we find something more interesting? Daniel Case (talk) 19:17, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
  • I have pulled this from the prep area, as the hook is misleading. Stating that he "played few minutes for Spain.." is only true of the 2012 Paralympics: he has plenty lots of minutes for Spain prior to that. The hook needs to clarify this point further. • Note: the article was moved from Bernabe Costas de Miranda to Bernabé Costas on December 9; assuming this move is correct, the article must be changed to use the accented spelling of his first name. I've updated this template to reflect the move, including the hook. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:23, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Nominator/creator was notified on her talk page that issues here and on other DYK nominations had been waiting for over a week and in danger of being closed; she has subsequently made hundreds of edits but none to her DYK noms. Closing nomination as unsuccessful. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:03, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
