- Gerda Arendt, I've added a "citation needed" tag to the paragraph on other Dehmel settings, revised its final sentence, and adjusted some blockquotes. I am concerned about the inclusion of the complete English translation, since it's from a modern copyrighted source, but since these concerns may not be fully appropriate, I'm going to query Nikkimaria, who has a much better sense of where the line is, and can look over the article. - If you mean the Goldmark setting, I already provided WorldCat (and there could be others). Translation: they were in all Bach cantatas in 2010, and I got rid of all of them, and have no translation in "my" Strauss song, but many others have one. - Unfortunately I have to agree that the translation is a copyright issue - particularly with poetry, translations merit an independent copyright in addition to that of the work from which they are derived. WP:LYRICS, while not policy, gives a good overview of the issue. BlueMoonset also asked me to look at the blockquotes - they're not a copyright concern given the length of the original sources, though they may be more of a style issue. - Gerda ArendtI can do even better than that. Most of the best known Strauss songs had contemporary translations by Paul Bernhoff, published as a universal edition (published around 1900). I can replace the Jefferson with these. The only issue with the Bernhoff is that they are translations to be sung, so that the meaning is not always exactly the same as the German.
