Battle of Auberoche edit

  • ... that in 1345 the Earl of Derby attacked an army of 7,000 Frenchmen with a force of 1,200 Anglo-Gascons at the Battle of Auberoche? Burne, Alfred (1999). The Crecy War. Ware, Hertfordshire: Wordsworth Editions. ISBN 978-1840222104 pp. 106, 107

  • Hello again Gog. Another excellent new GA written on impeccable sources. Article is well written with no close paraphrasing of accessible sources/ A QPQ has been done. This one is good to go but I would make one suggestion: that "and defeated" is added to the hook - it makes it all the more remarkable. If desired it could be shortened by piping: "...the Earl of Derby attacked and defeated an army...", but that is a stylistic choice - Dumelow (talk) 16:33, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
