Source: "School was six kilometers away from home. There was a road but there was no public transport. So I would run or walk all the way. Hi, I came by to promote this, but there is no inline cite for this fact: He holds the national record of 8:28.94 set in 2019. Later in the article it just says: He improved his record to 8:28.94 in March 2019 at the Federation Cup in Patiala. Yoninah (talk) 22:57, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
- He first broke the national record in 2018 with a timing of 8:29.80 and improved his own national record in 2019 by clocking 8:28.94. I am sure multiple references in the article confirm this fact. Dee03 16:43, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

- The article says After failing to qualify for the 2018 Asian Games due to an ankle injury, Sable broke the 37-year-old national record of 8:30.88 held by Gopal Saini, by clocking 8:29.80 at the 2018 National Open Championships in Bhubaneswar. He improved his record to 8:28.94 in March 2019 at the Federation Cup in Patiala. The last sentence is followed by a citation to this Firstpost article which says The 24-year-old Avinash Sable had aroused some interest when he broke Gopal Saini’s long-standing National record by completing the steeplechase in 8:29.80 in the National Open Championships in Bhubaneshwar. But it was not until he lowered that to 8:28.94 in the Federation Cup in Patiala last month that more nuggets were discovered about him.. Please fix the wording which you think is not explicit enough to confirm the fact, because to me the current wording seems explicit enough. Dee03 02:06, 24 September 2019 (UTC)

- The heats for the steeplechase event will take place on 1 October and not 27 September as wrongly suggested by the 2019 World Athletics Championships article. I would like this to run on 1 October instead of 27 September. Dee03 12:38, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
