  • Submitting machine translations of articles, and entirely ungrammatical hooks, takes immense liberties with wikipedia rules. Beyond the hooks (which are properly sourced from reliable sources, but borderline illegible), the article is exceptionally poorly sourced for the other claims it makes, including official Iranian-regime propaganda from the likes of Hamshahri, taken at face value. Some of the sources don't appear to be quotable at all by wikipedia standards -- Timetoast?? -- and all of them are whimsically formatted, making absolutely no sense (the author identified as "staff, writer" and the one who is for some reason in all-caps; the google books links which is presented as "lulu.com"; the failure to provide a single page reference to any of the book sources, with one of them appearing as "2 volumes", as if the editor has cited every word in both volumes to support this article; Farsi sources with automatic translation of titles in lowercase, instead of the original etc. etc.). There appears to be a gung-ho accumulation of DYK submissions with the Iranian official POV to promote -- note the QPQ presented here has the exact same issues. While I'm sure the Iranian government can't possibly be wrong about everything (in particular when it opposes Balochi radicals who kill civilians), this trend needs to be checked for NPOV, RS issues, or at least grammar.
