Arne Kotte edit

  • ... that after signing a professional contract with Italian club Palermo, Norwegian footballer Arne Kotte injured his knee five minutes into his first training match, and was out of action for six months?

  • Sources appear reliable, hook interesting albeit on the long end. No plagiarism/paraphrase/copypaste concerns visible, unless "By doing so he became the first professional footballer from Steinkjer to play abroad." is too close to the source - Google Translate yields "Kotte was the first footballer from Steinkjer who played professional football abroad.". Using Google Translate on the foreign language source backs up the content, although the club is named "US Città di Palermo". QPQ is done and the article is new. • Tagged my comment with one icon; I am a bit unfamiliar with paraphrasing standards so for now not approving yet. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 12:15, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
  • @Jo-Jo Eumerus: I don't view it as too close to the source, and cannot think of an alternative way of wording it without getting closer! GiantSnowman 12:21, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
  • Upon checking out some other instances of paraphrasing discussions in DYK, it appears that this one falls on the right side of things. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 12:40, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
