Animal Crossing Plaza

  • Reviewed: KROF
  • Comment: Article newly created from redirect page; ALT1 is hook-ier but might be seen as misleading

  • I would suggest striking ALT1 since the source itself never explicitly says that there were plans to shut down the app on the same day as its announcement, as quirky as that hook would have been. ALT0 is possible but the wording sounds a bit weird and could probably be touched up a bit to make it flow better. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 06:50, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
ALT0a:... that Nintendo planned to only support Animal Crossing Plaza for a limited period, and discontinued the application after less than 17 months?
ALT0b:... that support for the application Animal Crossing Plaza was discontinued after less than 17 months?
The article meets DYK requirements, is free from close paraphrasing, and the hooks are cited inline and verified. A QPQ has been provided. ALT0a is the option that I prefer, but the source used never explicitly uses terms involving "limited support", so ALT0b is allowed as a backup. I would also suggest mentioning in the hook that the application is for the Wii U as readers might think that it was a phone app instead. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:31, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
