... that Andrei Krauchanka's (pictured) pole snapped during the 2010 European decathlon, but he still won a medal after rival Darius Draudvila lent him his pole?

Article meets all the criteria, hook fact is directly cited and I can confirm that it was an unreferenced BLP prior to expansion and so meets the 2x expansion requirement. However, the expansion actually meets the normal 5x expansion requirements anyway. Only quibble is that as you've had more than 5 DYKs published, there needs to be a QPQ review conducted.
