Ali Maow Maalin
edit- ... that Ali Maow Maalin was the last person in the world to be infected with naturally occurring smallpox?
- ALT1:... that Ali Maow Maalin, the last person to be infected with naturally occurring smallpox before its eradication, helped to eradicate polio from Somalia?
- Reviewed: Listed buildings in Great Budworth
- Comment: The "naturally occurring", though clumsy, needs to be retained in some form, as there was a subsequent laboratory-acquired outbreak.

Good to go, prefer ALT2. AGF on offline sources, no close paraphrasing found in sources checked. BTW, if the image is from the CDC, it may be free. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 11:43, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
- Wow, that was quick! I hoped a free image might be available as they are all over the net, but failed to find one. This one is definitely copyrighted according to the CDC's image library, sadly. I think it must have been taken by someone at WHO and licensed to CDC. IMO, it's a reasonable fair use case, though. Espresso Addict (talk) 11:55, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
- Agree about the reasonable fair use. Good article! — Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:11, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
