Alan J. Gould edit

(edit nomination page)

  • ... that sports editor Alan J. Gould invented college football's AP Poll in 1936 as an "exercise in hoopla," to fill space between games, and "to keep the pot boiling"?

  • Length, history OK, offline source accepted in good faith. However, I've added in "college football" for "the" before "AP Poll" because it might not have been clear to the reader, hope the nominator doesn't mind. I'll notify him, but also close the discussion yes. We'll adjust it if there's a need.--Wehwalt (talk) 01:00, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
