  • This is more of a comment than a review, but I'm not really sure about either hook. ALT0 borders on being a BLP violation, while ALT1 is not an eye-catchy hook at first (it's interesting, but only after reading it after a while and understanding what it means, and that might not be the case for the typical Main Page reader). Perhaps additional hooks could be proposed here? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:56, 5 November 2019 (UTC)

  • : Article is just big enough and new enough. Copying has no issue. Is neutral. All 3 hooks are short enough and included in article. Original hook is in article, referenced, and confirmed, however it is not neutral, as the reference mostly talks about the claim of innocence. Hook alt1 is in article, referenced, and facts confirmed. Hook alt2 is in article, referenced, and facts confirmed. QPQ performed, however a few typos included there too! Picture looks OK and has suitable license. Good to go alt1 or 2. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 06:16, 30 November 2019‎ (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but I agree with Narutolovehinata5 that neither of the alts are hooky. Maybe if you add more personal detail about him, you could fashion a good hook. Yoninah (talk) 23:34, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
  • ALT4: ... that in 2014, Moroccan-born long distance runner Adil Bouafif (pictured) won his fourth gold medal in the 10000 meters at the Swedish national championships? Yoninah (talk) 23:55, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
  • Looks good.BabbaQ (talk) 08:44, 6 December 2019 (UTC)
  • alt4 is short enough (158 characters). The hook is in the text, referenced, and confirmed. (alt3 is even less hooky than 1 or 2). If promoters think that alt4 is not hooky enough, then I think we may have to cover the controversy ala original hook, but make it more neutrally worded. However good to go with alt4.
