"The settlers in that direction (including this family) were Germans, and their pronunciation of the name Zimmer sounds very much like "Seymour," hence the mistake."
That must be a mistake, the german pronunciation of Zimmer is like Tsimmer, Seymour must come from something different. Maybe the germans tried to use english pronunciation and failed horribly? ;¬) -- Darklock 01:48, 21 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
