Characters in The Japanese Version

edit

Can anyone confirm that the "boss characters" are playable in the Japanese version? I was able to obtain a copy, and there are only twenty character slots if you count Victoream. Also, I tried beating Patie on normal mode with an A-rank, but she was not unlocked. Could it be that they are unplayable in the Japanese version as well? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.226.14.27 (talk) 00:28, 28 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Zatch Bell! Gekitou Saikyou no Mamonotachi

edit
  • This (rather shoddily written) article should be merged here, then deleted. The name is wrong (Zatch Bell is the English title, and the rest is Japanese) and thus not a likely search term. Danny Lilithborne 02:00, 19 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
    • Actually, I've looked into it, and "Zatch Bell! Mamodo Fury" is actually "Konjiki no Gash Bell!!: Go! Go! Mamono Fight!!" in Japanese. "Gekitou" does not have a slated American release as of yet, so the articles are based on erroneous presumptions and should be deleted. Danny Lilithborne 02:33, 19 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • Please stop majorly editing the page. I got official confirmation that Gekitou! Saikyou no mamonotachi is infact Mamodo Fury. you want me prove it. I'll show show you images of Go! Go! Mamono fight!! then you'll really know the truth. User: DranzerX13 06:35, 18 November 2006 (PST)
        • Before this escalates into a ridiculously serious edit war, why don't you two find some other projects you can work on, and instead post this article up on the article improvement drive?

Also, please bear in mind the good faith and the no personal insults policies. Locriani 02:53, 19 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • In the japanese version of Mamodo Fury the character select screen looks pretty much the same except 9 more characters are fit on there instead of 20. You don't believe me, look at this:

Link to Gekitou! Saikyou no mamonotachi: http://www.bandaigames.channel.or.jp/list/ps2_gashbell02/mode.html

Link to Go! Go! Mamono Fight: http://www.bandaigames.channel.or.jp/list/ps2_gashbell04/system/index.html

Now after looking at these two links, then tell me if you still think that mamodo fury is "Go! Go! Mamono fight"

    • I'm very sorry ok. please forgive me for the way I was acting. I don't know why IGN also lists Go! Go! Mamono Fight! as Mamodo Fury. that's very strange. I guess it all depends on the person that types in the information on those sites. I know I can be wrong too, no one is perfect. We all make mistakes. By the way I like the japanese version of Mamodo Fury because there are 9 more playable character that the english version didn't have. In Yuujou Tag Battle 2 you can be Ponygon/Kafka Sunbeam compared to the english version where in that team Kafka was taken out. I like their spells.

Fair use rationale for Image:GB02 PS2 01.jpg

edit

Image:GB02 PS2 01.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

game modes section written in second person

edit

The game modes section is written in second person ("you do this") rather than third person ("the player can do this") which is standard for an encyclopedia, but oddly I'm having trouble seeing how to change this. RJFJR (talk) 19:34, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I re-wrote the game modes section to be in third person. Shutsuji (talk) 03:30, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
