The article reads a lot like an ad, to be frank...--Marysunshine 23:36, 7 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

There should be something on how Private Investigators use it. 199.164.253.2 20:27, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I tried it today. When a name is listed, the links for additional information all go to Intelius. I don't recall that it used to do that. Has the relationship between Zabasearch and Intelius changed? 206.53.197.24 (talk) 02:55, 19 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Beside the fact that almost all links now leading to Intelius, Zabasearch now shows "Free Listings" that are all links to Intelius where there is no further information but you can pay Intelius for more. So it not only appears that Zabasearch and Intelius are part of the same company (based on the WhoIs records for both sites), but there does not appear to be anymore truly "free" listings at all. They all bring you to Intelius. J-Mac (talk) 15:24, 28 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Zabasearch.com edit

I've proposed this article for deletion, with the reason:

"After the Intelius purchase in 2008, ZabaSearch no longer provided any free information, just links to intelius.com per, e.g., the comments on the Talk page. As of April 2017 (unknown when this started due to robots.txt restrictions followed by archive.org), the site just returns a blank page for name and phone number searches, so it isn't even a functional front-end to Intelius' pay site anymore. Only reason for keeping the page would be for historical interest, since the site was once fairly well-known to consumers of such services. If kept, the page needs much rewriting due to non-encyclopedic language, opinion, questionable assertions, etc."

Per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/Zabasearch.com, there are only two substantive links to the article. --Dan Harkless (talk) 06:35, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

As of July 3, 2017, the site is returning results for name and phone number searches again. I'll add the appropriate tags to the article to address "the page needs much rewriting due to non-encyclopedic language, opinion, questionable assertions, etc.". --Dan Harkless (talk) 03:16, 4 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
