Name
editMoving list to name. This is not the primary use. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 02:13, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
Parallel usage
editThe pronunciation of Yasmin is often parallel with the English Jasmine.
In other words they start at distinct point but they're heading in the same direction. 2001:171B:2273:1D71:95C2:F8DC:E59:C1FD (talk) 10:04, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
Origin
editA source in the Etymology section shows that the name ultimately comes from Persian (which seems to agree with other sources), yet the lead and infobox both claim Arabic origin. Are there any reliable sources showing that it was first in Arabic? Dotyoyo (talk) 00:04, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
