  • I doubt it, look up Jew, and you'll see that the Hebrew word is also "Yehudi" (singular). Yahud is simply the Arabic word for Jews. It's not inherently a slur, though I have heard it used like one, there is no lexical alternative except the rather archaic Bani Israel. It's not a slur or derogatory word, read before you act. Everyone in the Middle East even before Islam and Christianity called them Yahud even the Jews themselves. it's their name, it's like saying the English word "Jew" is a slur. Twhr (talk) 03:56, 31 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
