Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --MonicoNeck (talk)It's a book that it is getting noticed. Shuld i add that? Which other pages should i used as references fo the book. Goodreads? Amazon? Mexiconect? newspaper articles?

Newspaper articles would be sufficient. This article needs to meet the criteria at Wikipedia:Notability (books) or it will be deleted. maclean (talk) 04:53, 31 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
As it is self-published, the better the coverage needs to be. Amazon listing only indicates existence, and the 'reviews' there aren't even worth looking at. (Guess where most of them usually come from?) Goodreads is no good either for similar reasons. Coverage has to be identifiable independent and reliable. Nothing where anyone can post will count. A review by a critic in a newspaper with a good circulation (but not The National Enquirer...) is OK, but a review in a blog section isn't. If the book is 'getting noticed', it's probably way too soon for an article. Peridon (talk) 12:17, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
By the way, the one reference given is not a reliable source - it says on it in large letters something like "Do you know you can edit this page?". Peridon (talk) 20:03, 6 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
