As part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles' Project quality task force, I am re-reviewing this article to ensure compliance with current good article criteria. I have determined that it doesn't meet criteria for the reasons outlined below and needs a bit of work if it is to retain its status.

  • The main issue is one of comprehensiveness (crit. 3); I don't feel that key aspects of the article meet the broad and relatively weak requirements for coverage, in particular critical reception and production.
  • The plot is waaay too long, and seeing as there's no production info to back up parts of the article, it's unnecessary.
  • Quite a few unreferenced statements throughout. It's a particular issue towards the end of the cast section listing cameos, et al, where there is no source provided for any of it, novelizations and video games section, and home video release.
  • File:Xmen3patrickstewart.jpg's rationale is pretty weak, especially as there's no comparison, so readers won't be able to tell any difference; also, axe File:Xmenlaststandsndtrk.jpg. It adds nothing to the article.

I am placing the article on hold for a week or longer, if there are significant changes made. Please appraise me on this page. Thanks, --Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 15:11, 6 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

As there has been no hints of progress, I am failing the article right now. Remember you can renominate the article any time you feel it meets criteria. Direct any comments to my talk page; I don't watchlist old reviews. --Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 13:43, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
